SMO 254 (UNS S31254) is a 6% molybdenum super-austenitic stainless steel built for chloride-rich service. SMO 254 (UNS S31254) is a high-alloy 6Mo super austenitic stainless steel with high molybdenum and nitrogen, offering excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-bearing media.
