Cu-Ni 70/30 (C71500) offers higher strength and better resistance to erosion and high-velocity seawater than 90/10. Copper nickel (Cu-Ni) alloys such as 90/10 and 70/30 offer excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling, combined with good thermal conductivity and fabricability.
