Grade 11 is a 1¼Cr-½Mo alloy steel used for high-temperature pressure piping and boilers. Controlled additions of chromium, molybdenum, nickel or vanadium give alloy steel higher strength, deeper hardenability, better toughness and stronger performance at elevated temperature.
