UNS S32205 is a 2205 duplex grade with tighter nitrogen and molybdenum ranges for improved pitting resistance. Duplex stainless steel has a two-phase austenitic-ferritic structure that delivers higher strength than standard austenitic grades together with good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
