UNS S31803 is the original 2205 duplex stainless steel specification, combining high strength with good chloride corrosion resistance. Duplex stainless steel has a two-phase austenitic-ferritic structure that delivers higher strength than standard austenitic grades together with good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
