A 90° short radius (SR) elbow has a centre-to-end radius equal to the nominal pipe size (1D), allowing a tight 90° turn where space is limited.
Buttweld fittings are bevelled at the ends and welded directly to the pipe, giving a continuous, leak-resistant joint with a smooth bore and low pressure drop. They are the standard choice for process piping above 2" NB and for high-pressure, high-temperature service.
