An IDF union is an International Dairy Federation (ISO 2853) sanitary union with male, nut and liner parts.
Dairy (sanitary) fittings are stainless steel fittings with smooth, polished internal surfaces and crevice-free joints that can be cleaned in place (CIP). They are used in dairy, food, beverage, brewery, pharmaceutical and cosmetic plants where hygiene is critical.
